Judgment for sin draws near. God has evil planned against the USA because they will not repent. Things are not going to continue "business as usual." National repentance would help, but that's not going to happen. You must repent for your own personal benefit.
"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish"
Luke 13:5 Spoken by Jesus.
Repent means to stop doing the things that are wrong and start doing what is right.
Repent before it's too late for you. God's judgment is near
Jesus said, ďThe Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel.Ē
If you havenít heard the gospel lately, hereís how it goes. God is the creator and he has the right to tell you what to do. God expects obedience from all his creation--angels, animals, people, including you and whatever doesnít obey him he will punish and destroy. When you donít obey God, you become his enemy (like the devil). It takes repentance and obedience to be a child of God. Godís only son Jesus died a horrible tortured bloody death on the cross for you because he loved you. Then he rose from the dead. He did all that just to make a way for you to be forgiven of sins and empower you by his spirit to become his obedient child. Even though Jesus did all that, you will still go to hell if you donít repent and live right. This is the word of the true and living God. Any other word different from this gospel is just a fairy tale of man made religion and lying priests and preachers who teach religious superstitious nonsense. Why donít you repent and serve God in truth instead of just trusting in a religion, so you donít end up in hell. The choice is up to you. God is calling you to repent and serve him in spirit and in truth. Jesus stands at the door and knocks. If you hear his voice, then open the door. Don't harden your heart, but instead, repent. If you just do nothing, you will be lost.
Repentance is mankind's most important work.
God did his work, now you must do yours.
The emphasis in religion today is on what God has done and that you only have to believe. We know God did his work well and he is perfect. God has done his part of salvation. To say that God did a perfect work and you don't have to do anything but believe on him is not the whole truth. The most basic of all bible doctrines is that God expects you to do what he tells you to do. Some people call this legalism but Jesus called It " the love of God." Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." If you don't keep the commandments, you become God's enemy. Remember the devil is one of God's ex-employees. He simply one day stopped obeying God.
You will be judged according to your works and not just for what you believe. Jesus explained this in Matthew 7:21-23. The people Jesus spoke of called him Lord, showing they believed on him, yet they were judged and condemned for their sinful behavior.
Everybody wants to be happy and blessed but they don't want to repent and obey God. You can come near to God only with repentance. Jesus came to "take away the sins of the world." If he takes the sins away, that means you can't have them anymore.
If you honestly want to draw nearer to God and be blessed, then read the Holy Bible and find out what is right and what is wrong. Then do what God says.
